"Science in the Spotlight: The Other Side of Mars" in the February 2020 issue of "Yale Scientific Magazine."

The Other Side of Mars will be screened at the American Association for the Advancement of Science Meeting 2020, in Seattle, as part of a science program February 14th - 16th 2020.

February 2020:

The Other Side of Mars will be screened in Glasgow Centre for Contemporary Arts at the event Finnish Exposure, organized by The Finnish Institute in London, February the 2nd 2020.

November 2019:

The Other Side of Mars has been selected for the Jaipur International Film Festival, taking place in January 2020.

The Other Side of Mars screens at InScience International Film Festival, in the main competition.

Filming my feature documentary "The Other Side of Mars" in Pasadena, California. It was shot during three weeks on location at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and surrounding observatories, as well as four days in a studio. January 2017:

September 2016:

The film "To Melt" will be shown at the competition screening of the Artova Film Festivalin Helsinki 9-10th of September, and at the European Film Festival, in Moscow, Russia, October 22nd 2016.

June 2016:

The film "To Melt" will be shown at the competition screening of the Seattle Transmedia & Independent Film Festival , July 28th-31st.

May 2016:

The film "The Line - Four Projections" will be shown at the CPR Film Festival in connection to the ArteBA art fair in Buenos Aires 22.5.2016, curated by Tainá Azeredo.

A three channel version of the film TO MELT will be shown on the Xidan Culture Square, Bejing, as part of "Moi Helsinki", Helsinki City's cultural event in Bejing, May 2016. The selection of artworks was curated by Kaisa Salmi in collaboration with AV-Arkki.

March 2016:

The short film To Melt will be shown in Gallery Forum Box' Media Box, Helsinki, opening on Saturday the 9th of April. During the opening an artist book about the piece will be published. The book features an essay by Sini Mononen in Finnish, Swedish and English and it is published by Poesia. Layout by Otto Donner.

February 2016:

The short film TO MELT was selected for the Experiments in Cinema Festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, that takes place April 5-10, 2016.

November 2015:

The short film TO MELT made it to the official selection of the Blow Up Chicago Arthouse Film Festival 2016. It was also selected to the Directors Circle Festival Of Shorts (USA), and the Firestone International Experimental Film Festival, in Moscow, Russia, in December 2015.

May 2015:

The short film TO MELT has been nominated for best foreign film at the monthly Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards, May 2015.

JUNE 2013

The short film REPLIKEN / THE LINE was selected for the "wAnderland" section at the Miden Film Festival, a section shown in Athens in parallell to the festival in Calamata).

"wAnderland" is like plunging and wandering through the dreams and nightmares of the subconscious,
following narratives over time and beyond.

The screening takes place in CAMP, Contemporary Art Meeting Point, Athens, Greece on  Saturday 6/7/2013 and is curated by Margarita Stavraki.
